2023 Environmental Report Ignores 2024 Killary Escape In 2025 Clew Bay Farm Renewal Application

MOWI says, "There will be no significant effects on fisheries."

According to pages 10-13 of an October 2023 Environmental Report by MOWI being used in their current 2025 renewal application, the site East of Clare Island, Outer Clew Bay, County Mayo is harmless, in that "there will be no significant effects on fisheries."

However, the application fails to mention any threat of escapees, the same which in 2024 bombarded the genetic pool of the wild salmon in the nearby Killary, reaching the nation's most historically recreationally profitable systems as far as Lough Corrib. Meanwhile, page 22 of MOWI's 2024 Sustainability Report acknowledges escapes and sets targets for eliminating them:
